Written and spoken words can change the way you look at things. The following 10 quotes have all helped shape my life in some way or another. One quote is pinned to my wall above my work-desk (quote 7), another I think of every time something bad but minor happens (quote 9), and one even made me cry (yes, I sobbed like a little baby at the end of *this film* – quote 6).
The most relevant life-changing quotes are those which relate directly to you. These are the quotes that have changed my life, but I am very much interested in finding out the top 10 quotes which have changed YOUR life. Comment below and enjoy the images.
Warning: strong explicit language in quote 10

Alvin, I agree on two premesis… one that quotes can change the paradigm of your thinking and thus change you mind and approach to life and thereby indeed change your life. The second part is also true, they have to be personal and speak to you. So while I love your first couple 1 & 2, there are others that miss the mark for me personally, though the context with which you connect to them is missing would also have a huge barring on the sharing of them.
Context is a third I would add, as in one context I would have a list of ten, ie: the Positive Imperative and ideas to make the world more positive and in another context… ie: parenting or child rearing I would have another set that likely impacted both my life as well as my children’s.
SO for now I’ll share my 3 favorite quotes for the first set, as they are the most congruent with my lifework.
1. If you not a part of the solution, then you’re a part of the problem. (I have yet to find the source of it. I learned it from an old Mod Squad program.
2. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
– Margaret Mead (1901-1978), Anthropologist and Writer
3. “One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.”
~ Oliver Wendel Holmes (1809-1834), Physician, Professor, Writer & Poet.
Quotes have the ability to inspire and make people think….. which bring to mind another quote……
Some people would rather die than think. ~ Bob Proctor ~ The Secret.
Keep the thought process going!
